About Me

Hey y'all! I'm Taylor, the baker behind Oso Sweet Cookie Co. I am a full time teacher, Mama, and wife who has found joy in creating decorated sugar cookies tailored for different events.

 

As a child, I remember getting decorated sugar cookies with my mom and sister at a local cafe. Not only were they tasty, but beautiful and fun. Today, that same child-like excitement for decorated sugar cookies still rings true. After becoming a Mama, I had dreams of hosting Pinterest-worthy parties for my bear cubs. I noticed that so many of the images I saw had uniformity from the decorations to sweets. With each picture I saw, the cookies held my attention most. They were always adorable and perfectly tailored to the event. I knew I needed to learn to make these iced beauties for myself since they would be the icing, literally, on top of a fantastic event.

A cookie decorating class in July of 2018 launched me into the world of decorated cookies, and I was hooked. The rest, as they say, is history! I am grateful to my family and friends who have supported me along the way, letting me use them as guinea pigs when I try new flavors and ideas, and allowing me to create cookies for their special occasions even when I wasn't 100% sure what I was doing. I can't wait to create something Oso Sweet for you!
